Recently, I joined the Microclimate Impacts of Solar Farms (MISOL) project, where I investigate the microclimatic impacts of large-scale photovoltaic (PV) farms using multiscale atmospheric modeling. My work focuses on the development of physically based parameterizations of PV farms for the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model, supported by high-resolution microscale simulations using DOFAS.
I hold a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in heat transfer and fluid dynamics. I specialize in fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, multi-physics analysis, mathematical modeling, and numerical methods and simulations.
I develop simulation, optimization, and programming tools using Python and Fortran for complex engineering systems. My work includes ocean modeling and particle tracking, multi-species gas network simulations, hydrogen production optimization (ZEPPELIN project)[microbial electrolysis cell, dark fermentation reactor, catalytic reformer, regasification reactor], and LNG regasification plant modeling.
