Title: WorkShop on Control with Openpulse – Qmio.

The Galician Supercomputing Centre (Cesga), through the Quorum project, will offer an introductory workshop related to pulse control in superconducting qubits on Tuesday, 24 February.

Contents:

– Introduction to pulse control.

– Mechanisms related to the implementation of native quantum gates – Qmio.

– Experiments to study the energy spectrum of transmons.

Date: 24 February, 2026.

Time: 11:30am. to 14:30 pm.

Delivered by: Alfredo Chavert Sancho, QUORUM project technician at CESGA, graduate in Physics and Mathematics from the University of  Santiago de Compostela (USC) and Master in Quantum Information Science and Technologies (MQIST) student.

Format: It will be developed at Cesga (classroom still to be determined).

Open registrations until 20 February (capacity limited to 30 people).

A laptop with an internet connection is required to access the Qmio infrastructure and run the codes presented during the course.
