Pilar Martínez García has been the general manager of the Galicia Supercomputing Center (CESGA) since September 2026. Previously, she pursued her professional career at the University of Santiago de Compostela, where she held various leadership positions in university administration, including Deputy General Manager for Technical Affairs and Deputy General Manager of Personnel, Research, and Strategic Planning.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration and a law degree, as well as a master’s degree in European Union Studies and an official university master’s degree in the Practice of Law and Legal Representation. Her professional career has focused on leadership and public administration, with particular expertise in university management, human resources, strategic planning, and the management of research and European funds.
