Outstanding news for our colleagues at Cesga and all the other members of the FFplus Project consortium!

This programme has established a new record: the 2nd Open Call for Innovation Studies opened and closed in the blink of an eye, having reached the maximum number of proposals (250!!) in less than 24 hours. The organizers are astonished to see such a remarkable feat in such a short submission window: “The strong and rapid response clearly shows the high level of interest from European SMEs and start-ups in advancing generative AI with HPC”.

The evaluation process will now begin and will be carried out by external expert evaluators. The execution of the innovation studies is expected to start in September 2026, with a planned completion in June 2027 . The third (and final) FFplus Open Call for Innovation Studies is expected to open in spring/summer 2027.
