SENIOR EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCHER IN QUANTUM COMPUTING TECHNOLOGIES

Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Experimental Researcher in Quantum Computing Technologies who, among other functions (described in the full terms), will be responsible for carrying out tasks of searching, analyzing and synthesizing scientific and technical information, as well as experimental development within the framework of research projects in quantum computing promoted in collaboration with the University of Vigo

The main activity will be the design, execution and validation of experiments aimed at the construction of a quantum optical neural network for combinatorial optimization, as well as the provision, maintenance and commissioning of a specialized experimental laboratory. This also includes the production of scientific results susceptible to publication, their presentation in international forums and the coordination of dissemination and knowledge transfer actions

The hired people will work in a multidisciplinary and motivating team, with extensive experience in the area of information technologies, where we especially value initiative, teamwork skills and the search for creative solutions.

Requirements for applicants:

Qualification: University degree and Master’s degree in Physics
Experience: Not required
Languages: Fluency in English for written and oral communication

Duration of the contract and working hours:

From signature until the end of the PERTE47 project (initially established for June 30, 2026).
Full-time work

Salary:

€32,334.54 gross euros per year in 14 payments.
In the event that the position is obtained by a person residing abroad, compensation will be established during the first year of the contract to cover establishment expenses, without in any case exceeding a maximum annual gross remuneration of €40,000.
